Did anyone have people dress up at work?
Did anyone look better in costume than in real life?

3. The woman in the cube next to me
tried to dress as a punk rocker, but wore a Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt.

Sad, really.

7. My Crim Law prof wore a skelaton-hand tie.
And I think I saw the angel of death around here (but maybe that's just because people got their memo grades).

15. I'm doing tonight's class as a 14th-century mercenary ...
I'm wearing a mixture of (real riveted) chain mail and articulated plate ... I figure if the class gets restless during the course evaluations, I can always unsling the 48" two-handed sword. The senior prof has threatened to wear all the tribal warrior gear he picked up during a stint with the UN in Africa, so my guess is that he'll be pretty well-armed too.

8. I have to dress up every damn day at work
Every morning I put on my "I'm a good office drone who wears stupid, uncomfortable 'business' clothes" outfit. I don't think this costume is fooling anybody, though.

9. Last year, I dressed like Steve from Blue's Clues.
Very few people even noticed it was a costume.

11. Well, either that or Jesus Christ has returned and is two cubicles down from me
the dude has long hair, mustache and beard, so why not?

Actually our building Hallowe'en party was yesterday. One woman slapped on a witch hat. That was about it.

13. We had two people dress today, a couple on Saturday
One of the managers decided it would be fun to have Trick or Treat for customers' kids on Saturday. He bought fifty pounds of candy (a great deal of it was chocolate; unfortunately, people found out we had it and now we have none. Damn.) and our Installation Services captain, who passed it out, dressed up as a witch.

Today we had two: one of our installation closers dressed up as a Hell's Angel--not what you think; she had red angel's wings, a red halo and horns--and one of our kitchens people dressed as a Hippie.
