The key saga continues
Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 10:26 AM by lizziegrace
$171 for the elevator company to come out and retrieve my keys. Ever since the OSU student died in an elevator that 24 students crammed into it and was 1,000 pounds OVER the weight limit, no one but the elevator company can do anything regarding elevators.

The building maintenance manager convinced them to come out at no charge. Normally, he'd have gone in the pit himself and gotten them but now he can't. :(

Word to the wise, don't carry anything smaller than a buick when you get on and off an elevator.

6. Would you like it back?
;)

The house key currently in the pit is the only one works a particular lock in my house. Also, my office key and key to a shop I work at on the weekends is on it. I was lucky I had extras of one house key and my car key, but I can't replace the others.

I never heard of that before.

I know you really don't need the expense now. I'm sorry lizzie.

3. I did!
two days ago. I emailed a friend about it and he thought it was a metaphor. Ha! My life is a metaphor. ;)

I don't have to pay it. I think this is my one free pass...

When I lived away from home at university, I left my keys to my room in college in some very unique places. Remarkably they always turned up again -my keys must have had nine lives!

I hope you retrieve your keys soon Lizziegrace

15. Sounds like you're a step closer.
I'm hoping that when the elevator company finally gets down there, they find a roll of twenties next to your keys, and they ask you, "Did you drop these too?"
