While you were off living a life (= missing from DU) I moved to Florida. I'm waiting for my trike which is safely inside a double decker tractor trailer on it's way here. Miss Frodo is adjusting but she doesn't seem to like living in an apartment. It's a little difficult to get her back into her cage if I need to run out and she :scared: swears there is a lizard in our bedroom!

32. Yes, full time until summer then I'll be runnin' the road N & S until

either I finish my part of getting the house up north ready to go on the market or it's sold I'll be back in Florida several times before I run away from the cold again in 2007.

I canceled the cross country Trike trip because I realized it was probably too much for an out of shape woman alone. And with all those fires last summer I think it's a good thing that I stayed on the east coast or I'd probably still be in NY right now.

17. I didn't hang out with him, actually,

he just seemed to be everywhere walking the catwalk of his 'stardom.' Fun thing is, a year ago I saw a tv feature with him and Bryan Ferry - it was like Dieter Meier inviting Bryan Ferry to Zurich to show him the places. I thought it was about Bryan Ferry, but he hardly got to say something. They visited the same places Dieter Meier was visiting 15 years ago, and he just tortured Bryan Ferry. The funniest thing was when they were eating and Bryan Ferry said something like 'I really hate if there's a guy playing music sneaking around your table,' which gave Dieter Meier the opportunity to get out a Guitar and perform something you won't find on CD anywhere ...

Dieter Meier then gave him a handkerchief he designed (it was a print of a Swiss flag) and Ferry took it, twisted it around and looked like crying for help. It was just bizarre. Oh, and when they visited Meier's wine store (I guess he has a vineyard in South America), Meier just commanded the poor clerk around like a nazi. Bryan Ferry was trying to tell him, "Sorry, I don't drink wine at this time."

Bryan Ferry probably regretted doing that spot with Deiter - sounds funny and 'uncomfortable' at the same time. :D Oh the things we miss out on here in the states! Come to think of it - Deiter's musical persona reminds me of the anti Bryan Ferry. :rofl:
