Would you like to know what certain DUers sound like?
I have a thing for voices — I have a thing for sounds, period — and I often wish there were a gallery of voice sound files.

In particular, I'd like to hear Left Is Write, since she's probably still got her radio pipes.

Et tu?

Of course, the best way to hear DU'ers.......is to visit them!

I've even heard your voice.......

It was a very nice one, too!

3. Not me.
I wouldn't want such a file around because I'd probably do something stupid. I'm not a wallflower in real life for nothin'.

There's a lot to be said for mystery...although there are a few DUers' voices that I'm curious about. Just 'cause.

I'm not gonna list 'em, though. I know who and that's enough.

A few here know what I sound like. (a bit too much, owing to the fact I like to talk) ;)

Typical bland Canadian accent; quite low and powerful for a female. I inflect a lot, and will often come up with silly little voices. :D

I have my everyday voice, and my 'public speaking voice'. I have a background in theatre.

It's black and biting, though very little physical comedy as compared with FT. I thought, in order, the best were Goes Forth, the Third, Second and lastly, First.

Got me again. :7

An "electric friend" is an electric friend's designation for people you know via the internets. She used to sign off saying, "Good night, my little electric friends."

66. Well, I'd like to talk with certain, yes
And I am pretty taken with certain voices, too.

I've spoken to a few DUers in person, at a get-together in California (including Puerco Bellies and NSMA, this being when I first met her), and a few via telephone, two for many, many hours over longish periods and others just in brief snippets of conversation (in total, one male DUer, and three female -- one of them now tombstoned, unfortunately -- as well as many calls with NSMA and a brief howdy to two other female DUers via her cell phone a year ago).

I've been told I have a good voice, and a few people have suggested I could be a decent DJ. I don't know about that, but I do know that my accent -- a mélange of accents reflecting where I've lived in my life -- has its odd moments. My wife had a great voice -- still does -- and is great on the phone and could easily do voiceover work.

Oedi has a voice for radio. Capable of making me melt...

Reyd Reid Reed has a beautiful voice. Matches her perfectly.

aA's voice is soothing and kind.

WhoaNelly's full of life. Where's she been, BTW??

And BillySkank? A true british gentleman's voice, easy to understand, unlike the royals. ;)
