I'm sipping my decaf coffee right now. Harleydad made it for me. Just about every day, he brings a cup down to me and says, "I made you some coffee." It's in that tall mug with the cover on it. I use a straw with it (guess I learned that from Starbucks). So every time, I ask him, "Could I bother you for a straw?" And he laughs and brings a straw. He NEVER brings the straw with the coffee.

However, I DO remember that the donuts we got in Germany were way better than the ones here. Sort of like the chocolates. :shrug:

Harleydad does have several things he makes well -- coffee, steak & eggs, salmon, cake ... to name a few. He's not so good at salad. He doesn't get the "tear into bite-sized pieces" part. :rofl:

That brings me to an idea: You could start your own veggy garden with green salad, tomatoes and stuff.

Yes, I'm going to do a veggy garden. But I have to wait until they finish grading. They actually put the leach field in and dug up the grass some more ... sort of in a different place than where I expected it to be. We've put off building the barn for the same reason. Even on that much land, you never know where the builders are going to dig around. :shrug:

but there are sweets I do love. I am not eating much of the stuff I just posted the pics of. But ice cream ... that I could never do, to say no to it.
