Sid Vicious, bassist for the Sex Pistols, dies in his sleep of a heroin overdose. He was waiting to stand trial for the stabbing death of his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen.

Pretty good movie. Definitely does NOT glorify drug use. Sitting on a subway with snot bubbles coming out your nose and drooling does NOT make you look cool at all.

Anybody read Nancy Spungen's Mom's memoir about the whole thing? It's called "And I Don't Want to Live This Life".

I think Nancy must have been brain damaged at birth because that happened a lot back in the fifties and sixties. From what her mother described, I don't remember the details, but she was probably in labor too long and the kid was O2 deprived.
