1. Holy shit, she is hot.
(Except for that last disco thing.)

I think I should quit my job and become a full-time stalker. Seriously, visual and auditory heroin for white guys.

14. She doesn't. On the other hand...
...there is no reason not to be revealing if she thinks its desireable to be expressive.

22. Oh, I'm not complaining. A beautiful woman is, to me, as much a miracle of
God or Nature (whichever you prefer) as is a mountain range, or a waterfall, or the fall foliage in New England, so I'll indeed look and appreciate.

27. It's not just the "pop" songs.
Her version of Pie Jesu is particularly thin and brittle.

28. I agree.
Out of tune on some notes, horrible vibrato on others. I haven't heard that much of her stuff, but I was not impressed.

6. Amazing...
I first heard her singing "Winter in July". I just love the words to that song. Went out immediately and bought the La Luna cd & wore it out playing it. She's a little freaky though.

18. She's in her 40s in a lot of those videos.
I saw her in Cleveland a couple years ago flying around on wires while singing. Got some photos around here somewhere.

that was after her http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nk6Vbuh1-C4">Hot Gossip' days & pop career, I thought she couldn't get any freakier.

Definately living on a different planet.

23. because she can't sing ... honestly her husband got her gigs
she is a modern day Florence Foster Jenkins. The only difference is Flo Jenkins' gigs cost less cash to stage.

29. I really hate, hatre, hate...
big eyed woman who do the whole "doe caught in the headlights" thing -- like Brightman & Kate Bush. It's this weird, faux innocent thing that makes them look like those 70's big eyes kids paintings -- it really makes my skin crawl.

Brightman is a pretty mediocre singer, really more of a performance artist than serious singer. If it wasn't for her ex, I don't think she would have ever even been on the musical map.
