1. When it is windy here it sounds like ghosts are in the attic.
The wind makes a weird noise upstairs.

7. doors and windows are always locked
i think it's going to be one of those nights i sleep on the couch with the tv on.

of course, it doesn't help that i want to find a scary movie and scare the snot out of myself. i am such a glutton for punishment.

5. Yup....
it's been rattling the windows and whipping things around like crazy. It's gotten better, though. I hate it when I'm at home and I can feel the walls vibrate just a little bit and it whistles around the skylight.

:scared:

9. i'm just glad i'm in town
it was always worse at my dad's house. about a mile from the foothills with nothing in between but a big field. the wind just comes whipping down and it sounds like you're going to blow away.

18. We get strong winds so rarely here -
we're in kind of a "bowl" - so a strong wind is repugnant!

22. Wind is my least favourite weather
Rain I can handle, cold I don't mind. Even fog isn't all bad, because it is kinda cool. But wind just sucks. It makes whatever other kind of weather you are having worse. It gets inside your coat and makes it difficult to use an umbrella if it is raining.
