:rofl: OMG, I just got back from Target, and I heard this from a 7- or 8-year-old boy passing by Starbucks inside Target. :rofl: I couldn't tell if he was totally serious or if he was teasing his mother, who was leaving the checkout line.

If it's true, it's kinda sad that a kid that age has a Mocha Jones, but if it's not, he's gonna grow up to be a comedian! :rofl:

:shrug: When I was a kid, I tasted coffee once because my parents drank it a lot and I was curious. I thought it SUCKED. I didn't start drinking coffee until my mid-30s, and even then it had to be jazzed up enough for me to even entertain the thought of drinking it.

I work next door to a Starbucks, where there is a high school and a middle school within a short walking distance.

You WOULD NOT believe the kids, even the middle schoolers, who jam that place every single day! And, they order venti size mochas, frappacinos, etc. I was in line recently and a middle schooler in front of me ordered a three-shot espresso drink. :wtf:

Makes me wince to know that they are ingesting all that caffeine and sugar. I sometimes think there otta be a law against young kids being able to buy caffeine like that!!!

:hi: I guess it's kinda taken the place of soft drinks. It's sad...most of those coffee drinks have way more calories than soft drinks ever did, and they have a lot more fat too ('cause soft drinks don't have any fat in them! :P).

7. My friend is addicted to Starbucks. Since his birth, she has taken her son to Starbucks.

He has just turned 5 and as a number of "preferred coffee flavors and drinks."
