6. The poop on fried chicken...

I'll write what I can remember... As is fitting for a Legend or Myth it's story has become much
larger over time than the events at the time.

There once was a tacked thread at the top of the Lounge and *only* the Lounge by Skinner forbidding
so-called sex threads.

Stay with me here... That is an important catalyst in the following events.

Someone posted an innocuous thread about cooking fried chicken. In due time it became clear
there were at least two very emotional camps in the Lounge who had strong feelings about fried
chicken and it's ingredients. Which erupted into a spontaneous and huge flame war... The thread
grew into the hundreds of replies and lifelong friendships were literally ending. OVER FRIED CHICKEN.

Then... (and this is the punch line to it all) Skinner posted a thread banning us from mentioning
in any way, the word 'Chicken' due to some sexual connotation of the word in other threads and on
other boards.

So, for about three weeks it was a TS level crime to bring up Fried Chicken.

Skinner himself in his post mentioned how ridiculous the whole situation had become.
