Post The Firefox Add-Ons You Think All DUers Should Have!
I personally could not live without the spell check feature. I no long have to worry about my spelling nor hit a pesky button!

I also like the weather forecast bar.

1. FlashBlock.
Also known as the CPU cycle saver!

7. It stops flash movies from loading, but keeps the space for the movie reserved in the page layout.
If you want to play the movie, you simply click the big play button that flashblock places where the movie should be, and viola, the flash plays. It prevents awful, badly programmed flash ads from hogging cpu cycles on bad over the top effects and transparencies etc.

15. More
You can block ad "frames", you can block by url or url*, to target a specific ad, or ads coming from a particular ad vendor, like www.annoying-ads.com/*

Good stuff, worth looking into, IMO. The only places I don't ad-block are DU and one particular blog I read, because I know that those ads are bringing revenue to places I support.

21. And when you open a page that has ButtWads ugly mug on it
you can just right click it and make it go away! It's magic, I tell ya!! Also good for pics of creeps on various sites. I really think I would die without adblock.

Are our searches looked into that much (by the government and/or private businesses)?

22. I think so. I mean if they are not looked into now, they are at least saved somewhere for who
knows how long and can be looked at years from now. They can also be cross referenced with mail accounts like gmail. I think it's spooky.

24. Oh! Just remembered one of my standards -
BugMeNot.

It RULES. If you go to a site that requires registration you just right click and choose bugmenot from the menu and WHAM! Instant log in name with password!

...IE tab, for those websites (few though they may be) that refuse to display correctly in FF. Video Downloader which grabs flash vids on YouTube. And Stumble Upon.

29. A few I like
Foxmarks - if you use more than one 'puter, this one will keep your bookmarks synchronized between them. Once it's set up, you can forget it; it works in the background. Win or Linux, doesn't matter.

IE Tab - for viewing stubborn sites that don't work properly in Gecko. Still Firefox, just uses IE rendering.

Tab Mix Plus - enhances the tab workings.

Locationbar - makes the address bar easier to read.

Searchbar Autosizer - resizes the searchbar (duh), gives you more room in address bar.

Tab Effect - most useless extension ever, but also the coolest. Creates groovy screen effect when you switch tabs.

Bork! Bork! Bork! - Translates into Swedish Chef. For example, here's the text of the first post in this thread in B!B!B!:
