Should I go up and look.

That attic is really a second story, but it was never finished with rooms.

I have a big flashlight, the heavy kind.

1. Backstory? :)
My brother lived in a house that we always believed to be haunted.

Quite a few odd things associated with this home. We still talk about it.

2. This old house as a history.
People did live upstairs from time to time.

I am not afraid, whatever it is.

9. Squirrels?
I know you have lots of trees and you've seen squirrels, well you know.

They can make a lot of noise if they get in your attic, trust me on that one

5. I have a big flashight.
I think there might be a animal upstairs, that or a ghost.

I lived in haunted before, the ghost used party in the kitchen two or three times a month.

We we just go to bed.

We were young and stupid back then.

10. That is what I have, you never know when a flashlight might come in handy.
I really don't want to run into a scared animal.

12. Well how big could it be... its not like there is a mountain lion up there...
Go check it out. If for no other reason, you don't want squirrels or coons gnawing your wires and causing your house to burn down....

11. My video camera is dead, I need a new one.
I wished the light switch was close to the trap door.

It is almost 6 feet away.

It is really dark up there, I have read to many Stephen King books.

I need to drink a beer and then go.

I really think it is an animal or animals running around.

14. The attic is really big,
I am Ok with ghosts or animals up there but I really don't want any contact with either.

The old house in Austin that was haunted had a haunted bathroom, nothing like having something that you can't see touch you.

We had two bathrooms, we only went to the downstairs bathroom.

We did sent a lot of victims upstairs, it was funny back then to see them come running down the stairs.

It wouldn't be funny now.

24. The house is gone, sad to say.
It was near the U of T.

We got cheap rent so we just lived with the ghosts.

It was a old house, over 100 years old.

The haunted bathroom had been part of one of the upstairs bedrooms.

I don't know why just the bathroom was haunted and not the bedroom, really didn't make sense.

The bathroom was always cold and creepy feeling.

So we just stayed out of it whenever we could.

The ghosts in the kitchen liked to party sometimes so we let them, we would just go upstairs.

They didn't bother us and we didn't bothe them.

The ghosts did creep out guests, but you can get used to anything.

We were kids back then between 18 and 23.

I woul love to visit that house one more time, but there are student apartments there now.

I hope the ghosts are happy.

32. Wow! But did the ghosts touch you? What did that feel like?
And what do you mean they "partied"? Do you just mean they were noisy or did they actually sound like they were whoopin' it up?

33. The ghost didn't like people in her bathroom, I think it was a her.
The touch felt just like someone living would touch you, with pressure.

In the kitchen, there would soft music.

Sounds of people talking but you really couldn't tell what was being said.

Sometimes the sound would be like dishes being dropped, or fighting.

This is why the owners couldn't rent the house, no one stayed there very long.

We didn't know about this until after we moved in, but we learned how handle it.

It was interesting three and half years.

The ghosts lived there before we did.

19. I went, took the smallest dog with me.
She took off as soon as I let her down.

I turned on the light and the dog was over was over on the far side barking at something.

By the time I got there whatever it was was gone, so now I where a hole might be.

Most likely I have tree rats up there, trying to say warm.

22. Some folks call squirrels tree rats.
I was hoping for a ghost.

I may still ghosts, the steps were more human like then squirrel like.

I will check for holes and seal them up.

The dog was fearless, she doesn't want to come down.

I will let her stay for awhile, put some water and bed down for her.

25. The dog went from 0 to 60.
She is guarding the attic now so I just let her stay for the night.

I may need to get some safe traps to put up there.

Damn little tree rats, they have homes in the hollows in the old trees.

29. Yes, it has a floor.
People lived up there in the 30's and 40's, just one big room.

We don't use yet.

I would like to use it for myself but we would have but in stairs, and other things.
