PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- Officials said a fight over a washcloth in Ponte Vedra Beach sent two people to jail.
According to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, Ronald Anderson had asked his brother's roommate, Candice Spivey, for a washcloth while she was in the bathroom.
The two started arguing, then authorities said Spivey called Lucas Brown and said she was being harassed. When Brown arrived, police said he had a shotgun and forced Anderson to the floor and kicked him in the face.
Brown later fired the shotgun into a wall. He was arrested on charges of battery, aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
Spivey was charged as a principle to the same charges.
