An Eco-friendly valentine idea...
http://www.organicbouquet.com/Product/Detail.aspx?categoryId=1&productId=662

10% of your purchase of roses will go to Oceanea http://www.oceana.org/index.php?id=1769&no_cache=1 to help protect the world's oceans. :hi:

2. That's pretty cool.
Is it just a portion of those roses, or are there other flowers you can buy on that site that will help oceans?

5. All I saw were roses; but you could always
donate in a loved one's name and send them a free Oceana Valentine e-card. :-)

there are several selections that benefit various charities:

6. Well now I HAVE to ask,
because I've been ignoring those threads since it just sounded like more BS...

What's the matter with her light bulbs?

8. I guess she's gonna wait until the old ones burn out before she replaces them
with more eco-friendly ones. That's a big issue for some.

But I appreciate you noticing that I care.

It's hard to totally convert one's life to be kinder to the environment. I've just been trying to pick one or two things a year...

11. 10% of all purchases benefit Oceana; but in order for this to occur,
it's important to go to Organic Bouquet via Oceana's website/store link, which can be found on this page: http://www.oceana.org/index.php?id=1035

12. I wasn't insinuating that the
chocolates benefited Oceana. They have other bouquets that benefit other social causes (see my other post upthread.) I was merely pointing out that they had fair trade chocolate, too, which in and of itself is contributing indirectly to a social cause. :hi:

13. It's cool...
It also benefits Oceana when you buy it via their website; so there's twice as much good that comes from the purchase!

Mmm...Chocolate.... :)
