Would you wear a pair of underwear more than one day?

"you can get 4 days out of a pair of underwear, if you turn them inside out!"

2. Only under two conditions.

#1) I'm out of clean underwear.
#2) I don't shower that day (which only happens once every 2 months or so)

Outerwear, on the other hand, is fair game for 2 or 3 uses unless I get it sweaty or visibly dirty.

But to answer the OP, in the winter I sometimes don't bother to shower or change pants. If it helps, I don't stink (much), and I do shower when I do stink.

NBC reported during the Barcelona Olympics that the housekeeping team at the Olympic Village was completely unprepared for the flood of dirty undies coming from the American teams! In creating the laundry facilities, they hadn't planned for the fact that Americans tend to change their underwear daily, instead of the once or twice weekly that Europeans and others do. :wow:


Housekeeping was completely overwhelmed the entire games. :D

39. Running out of underwear is no excuse! I have 2 weeks supply always

in my drawer. And if my undies show sign of wear or develop holes (I bleach and bleach causes holes and general disintegration of cotton)out they go and get replaced pronto. Oh, and I only buy cotton undies.

Except when I go to Europe. Travelling is a challenge so I get nylon (which I hate the feel of)because it is fast drying in the hotel bathroom. Also, cotton panties take up way too much room in your bag. Nylon scrunches down nice and little, especially the skimpier ones...
