Some positive thoughts for the new year...

One of the most important things we, as activists, can do does not involve politics or politicians, conferences or forums, protest or rallies. Sometimes all it takes for a successful world-changing recipe, is just one part activist and one part person in need. We can compile statistics on joblessness, poverty or hunger until the Mad Cow returns to Texas, but we must not, in the process, lose sight of the very real individual pain experienced every day by those who we most want to help.
