Best/Worst alcohol induced garage band names
You know them, you love them. They spent 6 months of soul searching trying to find out what to name their new band. Searching for that rare uber-hip, yet intelligent name. Searching for something mysterious.

Alas they got bored, then drunk, and came up with something like:

Hate Fuck Trio

2. I'm not putting it in the subject line, 'cuz it is mighty bad but...
Fetal Jerky

:hide:

And I cannot actually take credit for this - a friend came up with it many, many years ago under the evil influence of Captain Morgan.

6. Pubic Dandruff...
Dont know if it was drink inspired since we were all in high school at the time, but it's definitely one of the worst I've ever heard.

8. Brother's old bands working name was
Fellatio Lockjaw. It was actually a punk band, not metal, but still.

14. Tremendous Fu@$ing
Edited on Fri Feb-09-07 02:31 PM by izzybeans
It's all about sloppy drunk good times apparently.

"Just like Burt Fu$%ing Reynolds" is a classic. It's on their album "How's my fu$%ing?"

The Eagles of Death Metal ranks up their with the faux-uber-hipster kid crowd.

I hear the lead singer from the now defunct Chicago bands "Gaza Strippers" and the "Didjits" now has a project called "Here Comes Old Vodka Tits", which I believe did make some list of worst band names of '06.

15. I was in Surgeon Geeral's Warning
Some buddies were in Ibuprofane--which they later changed to "Eviction Notice"--right after they got one.

For the record I just played a few tunes with Surgeon General's Warning, I was sort of an auxillary member of the band and had nothing to do with the name. The next school year they changed it The Eleven.

Yes, that was from Spinal Tap even though they were a total jam band.

16. Free Beer
Edited on Fri Feb-09-07 02:58 PM by AllegroRondo
my brother's band used that name for only one performance. the club owner made them change it after they put out flyers saying "tonight only! free beer!"

other names considered included "all nude" and "topless"
