I need a mental respite from this awful weather! Conjure up your best description of a dream vacation. Pics would be an added plus!

1. I don't have to dream-- I go there whenever I can....
It doesn't have a name on most maps. We call it Kilo Beach because of an item that washed up one New Years Eve about ten years ago. Really. It's a desert beach on the Sea of Cortez side of Baja California Sur, north of La Paz on the San Evaristo Rd., near Los Animas. It's a rough drive in over miles of washboard, then a short road to the beach that's impassable for anything but high clearance vehicles. No RVs. It's empty for miles and miles of coastline, backed by miles and miles of dramatic, empty desert, riddled with canyons, arroyos, and brilliantly colored mountains.

Takes about four days to get there from my front door in norcal. It's worth every hour of the trip.

I have a life-goal to "christen" all seven continents...two to go and Europe is easy enough that I'm saving it for last.

13. Jamaica is my happy place
I haven't been there for over 20 years (or anywhere else for that matter). But I remember sitting in a chair, on the beach, under a palm tree, wiggling my toes in the sand, smelling the salt air, and listening to the waves.

Could someone bring me a Red Stripe please?
