I feel like a stranger here.

It's very strange...I was a "regular" three or so years ago and then things took me away and the DU site got a little tough for me. There was a lot of arguing and there were times that I felt it was almost dangerous to go on GD...I don't mean physically dangerous by any means... I just mean that you never knew when you would be attacked verbally. Anyway, I have lurked from time to time and things seem very different now, safer, easier to express an opinion without being pilloried. The Lounge is still as quirky as I remember and it seems welcoming as usual. MATCOM is still here and a few (very few) other oldies. So, here I am for a second time around...I'm a lawyer from Boston who threw it all up and moved to the woods in southern NH. I have never looked back but I'm still involved in political things up here and I'm still interested in what folks have to say and think. I'm writing this because it ocurred to me that you guys might think I was a freeper in disguise. I'm not and I look forward to checking in from time to time.
