1. I've loved REM from the first time I heard them.

Way back in the early 80's.

And Michael Stipe's politics make me love the band that much more.

I remember hearing "Murmur" for the first time. I instantly fell in love with it -- it was like nothing else I had ever heard.

I wish they would start "rocking" again like they used to.

Thank you SO much! I'm an OLD REM fan. They used to come to Chapel Hill a lot. I remember MURMUR on WXYC, the campus radio station. I saw them
at Duke on the Reckoning Tour with THE dB's. I got to go backstage. I loved both bands.
