It must be sweeps or something because that was the story that our local CBS affiliate was just promoting for tomorrow's 11pm news. Surely there are more pressing issues than naked college parties happening in the world or at least a major metropolitan area...right?

3. I am so going to the wrong school.

More because I really, really, really don't want to see my classmates naked than for the lack of "nude, drug-addled sex parties where brown men are lurking to deflower your precious suburbanite daughters!" or whatever goofy sweeps crap is on the "news".

Then again, the best scare story they can come up with out here lately is "OMG! There are drugs and crime in the suburbs, too! Who knew???????"

4. yeah you gotta love those "Junior is huffing paint with his buddies" stories...

they usually come on after the 23 minutes of weather coverage we are subjected to on a nightly basis around here. It's supposed to snow tomorrow and Tuesday so I'm fully expecting them have a special report right in the middle of my prime time tv viewing period when the first snow flake falls down

6. We get those here and we barely even have weather.

We suffer, on the other hand from an excess of climate. So doing the weather in Sacramento consists of two questions "just how crazy hot will it be tomorrow?" (april-october) and "will it rain on little Timmy's soccer game?" (november-april.) Unless there's a need for sandbags or something, none of that should take more than two minutes to communicate and we certainly don't need this "the next cell will reach Arden-Arcade in 22 minutes" junk- it's winter, you plan for rain because that's what it does here in the winter. It's not Breaking News!!!! every time dark clouds pile up and the roads get wet.

I think Naked College Parties are of the HIGHEST importance!

The news should be very careful to let me know exactly where it is being held and when I should get there. Also, if I should undress when I get there or show up naked because I don't want to be rude and just show up nude if everyone is going to get naked at once...
