Weird - I think I figured out why 47 is my "lucky number"

Two things:

1. I grew up watching the Detroit Tigers in their mid-to-late-80's heyday - and Jack Morris' jersey number is 47. (Baseball games are shot on TV with the pitcher's back to the camera. That must've burned "47" into my brain.)

2. There is something called "The Star Trek 47 Conspiracy":

That is, an excessive use of the number 47 in the later Star Trek series and movies. ("Shields are down to 47%", etc.)

Weird.
