They're one of those groups that I don't care enough about to put much effort into defending them from their detractors (and they seem to have their share!), but I do have a couple of their albums from my junior high/high school days and still give them a listen from time to time.

...something from her work; which I found kind of weird, 'cause if their lyrics betrayed any sort of political philosophy, it was more of a hippie-liberal kinda thing. Not that they were a really deep, philosophical band or anything!
