Comcast
I called to add comcast phone to my internet and cable package....would have saved a bundle and it would make paying the bills a breeae. But I was told that the phone service was not available at my address....do'h. Just got a call from them trying to sell me on the phone plan, but I had to inform them that it was not available for me. "oh you are right, I'm sorry". Geez. Plus side she is going to keep me updated for when it is. I'm done with verizon.

1. Check out Sunrocket. You can get 2 years of phone service for 199 when they have
a sale, otherwise it's normally 1 year for 199, but I'd wait for one of their sales, they happen quite often. The two year deal works out to about 8 bucks a month.

3. Quite honestly, after having COmcast since last August
I am going to be changing back to the 2Wire through (hate'em) AT&T.

Comcast installs used equipment. Have had to have them at to my home to fix things six times already, had one modem changed out, another cable box changed, was initally given a modem that the cable hook up on the back completely fell off...was broken from the inside, and the IP address keeps changing through the modem, and I spend more time reconnecting than actually being online sometimes.

In short, I think Comcast wireless Internet sucks. I am very disappointed.

Sure hope your experiences are much better than mine have been, Mrs. Sniffa :hi:

4. So far I have had no problems with them
and when an occasional problem arises they fix it asap. Verizon on the other hand is always unreliable and when our phone broke they waited 4-5 days to fix it. I am looking forward to having all my charges on one bill. But I'll keep an eye on them after your post. Thanks for the input.

6. Down with Verizon!
I'm only keeping them as long as it takes comcast to give me some service....maybe we'll stick to cell phones and keep the bill to a minimum. I hate giving them money!
