1. Penn State is supposed to get a foot of snow
I don't remember classes ever being cancelled up there, although we didn't have any GIANT storms - just constant rain and snow and rain and snow and hail and rain and snow and rain.

2. My brother was there in the mid 90s and class was cancelled once
The students were taken from the dorms and told to help dig out the town

3. That's funny!
I wore out two pairs of LL Bean duck shoes up there -- I either wore a hooded slicker or a long hooded down coat.

You always see such beautiful pictures of blue skies at the televised football games, but a quick check of precipitation stats (and my memory) reveals that all it seemed to do was rain and snow.

All the stuff that should have fallen on Pittsburgh ended up dumped in Happy Valley...

I'm watching the snow from my office on the 26th floor....the city looks pretty...I can see Art Museum, and all the school buses lined up for the King Tut exhibit at the science institute.
