Hot chocolate and Breakfast at Tiffany's
I'm spending a cold, snowy afternoon watching the exploits of Holly Golightly, as played by the wonderful Audrey Hepburn.
How are you getting by? :hi:

5. That's one of my favorite films.
It didn't hew exactly to the Truman Capote short story, and I REALLY could have done without Mickey Rooney, but otherwise it's such a great movie.

6. I got the anniversary DVD from Netflix
Lots of extras on it, including one about the making of the film. If I recall correctly, Capote wanted Marilyn Monroe for the part of Holly and was pissed when Paramount gave it to Hepburn.
I have to agree about Mickey Rooney. Very strange casting, that. :hi:

7. But you know...
Seeing the movie, Audrey Hepburn is PERFECT as Holly Golightly. And another nice bit of casting...Buddy Ebsen as her husband.

10. I've done all the laundry, and I'm sitting here eating a bowl of Crab-Corn Chowder.
YUM. Chowder's great for truly frosty February nights.
