Again....I HATE being sick!!!
Day 4. Has moved from throat to being fully situated in the lungs and sinuses. Changing cold meds to fit my symptoms, got my lotion-y tissues and OJ, and Vit C drops. Coughing up lovely colors... x(

But, still going to skool and doing my homework, like a good nerd. :)

Hugs appreciated. (I promise I won't breathe on you :D)

15. Freaking hate it!
WE went to FL mid January, and it was a high of 70 for one day there, but hey, that was still 40 degrees warmer than here!

Not looking forward to the drive to work tomorrow in the snow...some people have no clue how to drive, let alone in snow!

I bet the wind is wicked coming off the harbor! it is bad out here in Metroworst too.

Get you to a doctor if you see too many colors in your cough! :loveya:

13. Ha! Mr. Gray is astounded at how many times I beaten cancer.
I have it at least once a week. Sometimes it lasts until I do go to see a doctor and he/she tells me I'm have mental illness, not cancer. Then I'm ok for about a week until I hear about a weird symptom...then it starts all over again.

19. Just don't "sympton surf"
Aka, looking up your random symptom on the internets...That's what my therapist told me at least. :P

And NEVER, EVER look up the phrase "bleeding mole" :wow:

24. I just recently got up the nerve to symptom surf.
Once I started, I was unstoppable. AND, I actually did look up bleeding mole last summer and went to a clinic about that very thing. Doctor treated me like I was "pathetic."

29. My recent pap was complicated because of complications,
so I lived in a hightened sense of doom for about 2 weeks until I found out my complication was due to "aging." What a glorious let down. All my plans for chemo and eventual coffin shopping...right out the fucking window...til a few weeks later when I developed a strange cough.

6. Rest, b-b.
Sure you need to go to school and do your homework, but don't lift a finger at home. I know for a fact that Mrs. Sniffa had domestic fever while you were out of the house (okay, maybe it was just one closet, but it's something) and sniffa's gotta be champing at the bit to make dinner after all his Sandra Lee viewing. Seems to me you can relax.

poor baby:hug:

14. Raw Ginger, a squeezed lemon, a little cayenne pepper in some chamomile tea.
Don't know how much it helped me get over my nasty cold but it sure felt like it helped.

33. here's a little trick for ya B_B
don't touch any doors

seriously

when I worked at a large corporate call center I was sick the first 8 months until finally an old hand gave me the secret

don't touch the doors to anything. use your scarf or the towel you just dried your hands with or your shirt or your sleeve

just don't touch doors

since she gave me that trick and I do it everywhere there are a lot of people in and out I haven't had the flu in 4 years

now pull some of those gallons of turkey stock out of the freezer and make some soup and get better soon
