4. I have considerably more than that to lose...
however, it is kind of nice to hear about a "reasonable" weight - as opposed to, say, 90-100 lbs for someone my height (I'm 5'7"). Ah, well.

6. I've only once known somebody who was 5'7" and under 100 lbs
She looked like the love child of Keith Richards and Skeletor when she checked into rehab at 93 lbs in baggy size 0 clothes. Meth does that to people.

7. In my corner of So. Cal. that height/weight combination
is not uncommon. I see women in their 30's and even 40's shopping the size "xs" racks in the juniors dept. in Macy's and showing off perfectly flat, even sunken stomachs above size 0 hiphugger jeans.

When I see someone that thin seated near me in a restaurant I always take note of their order. Generally a small house salad, dressing on the side, and water with a slice of lemon. They wear the deprivation like a badge of honor. I always feel guilty buttering up a slice of bread knowing I'm being sized up as a hopeless porker by the beanpole at the next table.

8. A lot of the women in Santa Barbara
are SCARY thin. If they weren't obviously wealthy and botoxed, I would peg them for tweekers or junkies, especially the ones with skin damage from tanning. :scared:

30. My wife is under 100 pounds...
and about 5'5"...

However, if we take my parents & brother to a Chinese buffet, she can eat more than my brother, my mom & dad and me combined...

and, my wife doesn't exercise, either.

19. Hey, watch the "retarded" line! He was being inconsiderate, to be sure!
I have a sister that was born profoundly retarded, so I don't like that term being used lightly. Hope you can understand.

Anyway, you can look hot wherever you go and then he'll realize what a damn fool he's been. Move on, girlfriend. He doesn't sound like he's worth hangin' around for, imo. You deserve better.

I am too short to hold it well though. But to be fair, I had a baby 3 months ago. Now, 12 years ago, I was 92 pounds at 4'11". Too skinny, but battling depression. My "normal" weight is 125 - 130.

on edit, I agree with Rocknation.

24. she was also 5' 10"
and that makes a big difference. 140 on someone my height 5'2" would still be considered as overweight.

I must have body promorphic disorder. I think she looked fresh and healthy then. After trimspa, she looked deprived and scraggly.
