I've bottle fed kittens and rabbits but never a squirrel. :loveya:

7. I do wildlife rehab

early for babies to be coming in. It takes four months to raise a squirrel from newborn till ready for release.
I specialize in wild bunnies but take in most anything.

I've done feral cat rescue. This is that last little critter I took in. Baby animals are so sweet.

Here are some of a baby field mouse which for some reason people now and then bring to me thinking they are squirrels. What else is there to do other than go ahead and raise it and then let it go far away?
Five days old, see how teeny in comparison to my thumb(pretend you don't see my peeling nailpolish, this was every two hour feeding around the clock)


and a little more grown up(still had not had time to attend to my nails)

Squirrels have major suction. They suck too hard and aspirate. A syringe lets me control the flow. :)
