I'm really pissed off at my so-called conference friends...

:grr: So, one good conference friend (or so I thought) talked me into the idea of going to Coyote Ugly on Saturday night. I had even gotten enough nerve up to dance on the bar. We ended up at a totally different restaurant that night, but we decided to go on Sunday evening after dinner. I had dinner with Robeson and Mrs. Robeson that night, and I called my friend when I got back. She was too tired. She also bailed on me Monday night. Four other women expressed interest in going on Tuesday night, and we all made plans to go. However, it was like the fucking Three Stooges when it came to actually going. It was really cold last night, and even with heavy coats, they all wimped out. The later it got, the more I realized we weren't going. :cry:

I guess I'm just gonna have to do it some other time. :cry: Sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking for pics. :(

4. A conference friend is...

...someone I normally see only at professional conferences, and we usually hang out together. The woman who talked me into going in the first place is a diehard Democrat and is normally pretty fun to be around. However, this time, it was somewhat different. :(

Maybe next time I'm at a conference I can call you. :P
