Anyone having a problem with google redirecting to other sites?
Google has been acting funny lately. If I click on a link to a site I have googled, it redirects me to something totally unrelated. Anyone else? Do I have a bug?

1. Yes, most likely
If you're getting messages about free spyware removal or that anyone can follow you about and you can fix it for free by clicking HERE coupled with the redirected Goggle then you certainly have a bug. If Adaware can't remove it then it's probably time to wipe and reload.

Speaking from recent personal experience

7. Great idea, swap browsers, the obvious so often escapes me.
Some of the firefox design team spun off and produced Flock which like Opera share the firefox software base. I'm pretty sure though that the problem is CoolWebSearch so downloading CWShredder on that new browser might be a good idea.

8. You've picked up a bug
go to http://snapfiles.com and find a bug killer, there are many free trials that should fix your problem. I use Spyware doctor, if you can go buy the software, mine costs twenty six dollars at the mega discount mart and is totally worth it.
It absolutely will kick the ass of the meanest bug out there and updates daily as well as imunizes your system.
You can buy it online, but i'd just go get the software install it and say sic em.

9. That happens to me too.
I found that if I see that it's going to happen, I hit STOP and then click on the link again and it goes right to the page I was clicking on.

I think it's a bug but don't know how to get rid of it.

14. Go to snapfiles and get the trial version of spyware doctor
The trial version won't completely clean your computer, but it will let you know what you're dealing with. If you can get the software and install it, it has shields built in that will keep you from screwing up.

I was using spy sweeper, but it let a bug through and wouldn't remove it later, i tried customer service with them and they left me with an unanswered problem. I downloaded the trial version of SPD and was so impressed I went and bought it and gave spysweeper the heave ho.
