I've been gone for a bit, but I'm back now. I've missed you all. :grouphug:

We're basically snowed-in here, and the power keeps fluctuating, but I wanted to post this while everything's still up and running. Hope your Valentine's Day is absolutely wonderful. :loveya:

1. So far so good. The storm is not amounting to much of anything

and they keep downgrading the snowfall amounts, so it looks like we wont be doing much shoveling up in Maine! We're about to go bake a valentines cake (mmmm sugar). We're both home from work, so it's really nice today!

2. We're all home from work and school today, too

but only because everything has been cancelled. Ugh. They tried to have school this morning, but there have been several school bus accidents, so I think they're going to send the kids home early.

As for our son, the bus slid into a ditch trying to get to our bus stop, so he stayed home. What an awful mess. It wouldn't be so bad if it were just snow, but we got snow *and* freezing rain all night last night and it's snowing again today. :/

8. He's been enjoying his snow days

I feel bad for him in a way, though. They're going to lose their Spring Break over this mess. :/ They missed most of last week and half of this week too.
