Just so you all know

Lego Star Wars II is really awesome.
I can't believe it took me so long to get to it.

Oh, and also beware of clerks in video stores who ask you what game you're renting.
You may be roped into a minimum 15 minute even-too-nerdy-for-me conversation about Playstation VS XBOX VS blueray VS HD VS who knows wtf else.
Re-god-damn-diculous. When a total stranger starts telling you about their level 99 black knight, RUN.

13. Seriously that happens to me weekly
I'll be going about my business like a normal human being and then suddenly
BAM
"I have a level 53 warlock, and I took him into this castle, and like, my guild was like, somewhere else, and there was an ogre and some trolls, but somehow I fought through them, and then I was a level 54, and I got the armor of healing enchantment, and I went into the forest"

and then I kill myself.

the way they would have products positioned and what-all, and that's fine; but if you are not ever vigilant, as you have so rightly alluded to; you WILL BE SUCKED into 'the gamer vortex' where woe befalls the individual without an accessible escape or exit

:scared:

Good clean fun.
Except for Chewy ripping dudes arms off.
And all the shooting and killing.
But, enemies turn into hearts and coins not blood and gore!

My kids always insisted that decapitated action figures were still good, because they could be dead guys.

25. Yes, it totally rocks. My 6 and 8 y.o. love it!
I rationalize that the violence won't turn them into serial killers, because they're just turning their enemies into little piles of Legos, not bloody corpses. :) Lego Star Wars II is the cool game to have in my son's second grade class. I haven't played it as much as they have, but it's a lot of fun.

Have to say that it's marketing genius, too. They now play with their Legos more, beg for Star Wars Legos, Star Wars movies (yeah, I know we should already have those, but they're on TV all the time anyway), new lightsabers, and Star Wars action figures. All that capitalistic greed from one little video game! (I, of course, told them to start saving their allowance.)

28. See, lego is one of my most approved of toys
It's fun, reusable, interactive, creative. I still have a giant pile of old lego from when I was a kid, and it NEVER fails to amuse appropriately aged kids (and myself at times)

I will say, for a kid, the first one is easier. (Episodes 123 as opposed to the orig trilogy) but they're both great.

follows the 'new' movies, Episodes 1-3
Lego Star Wars 2 follows the 'old' movies, 3-6 (Darth, Luke, Obi Wan, Leia, Han, Chewy)
