3. 3 well thought out answers
1. Do you like your pizza with thin or thick crust?
Thin!

2. Where do you find the best pizza, New York or Chicago?
St Louis. The style here is thin, cracker-like crust, provel cheese instead of mozerella, and cut into squares.

3. How often do you make pizza at home from scratch?
Used to do it quite often, making crust and everything. But not in over 10 years now.

5. I do like square cut and cracker-like crust.
I grew up in Chicago and I do like square cut. I've never had pizza in St. Louis.

14. You should come on over, then!
Just take I-44 to the Hampton exit south, an area called "the Hill". Its where the Italian immigrants settled many years ago. Pick a restaurant, they're all very good.

4. 1 Thin
I assume you're thinking of Chicago style when you say thick in which case Thin is my preference (although I did love the thick pan at Gino's East) but in Boston we have what's called Sicilian or Bakery style which is a thick crust very different from Chicago deep dish and that may actually be my favorite though I seldom get it these days.

2. Boston ;)

3. Usually that's what we do when we do have pizza. but it's my wife who makes that.

I am being snobby when I limit it to Chicago and NY, but I do know there ARE other places to get a decent slice.

20. Answers:
1. Do you like your pizza with thin or thick crust?

I like both, but I prefer thin.

2. Where do you find the best pizza, New York or Chicago?

I don't know. I get all my pizza in L.A.

3. How often do you make pizza at home from scratch?
Quite often. We have a system. My wife gets the dough started so it will have risen by the time I get home. I roll it out, top, and bake it.

21. Mmmmmm Pizza, food of the Gods!
I like the thin crust, traditional Italian pizza with Mediterranean ingredients.

Haven't had pizza in Chicago or NYC but would love a NYC recommendation for a trip out there next summer. Somewhere in the theater district if possible. Going to see Wicked on Broadway!!!!

Haven't made pizza at home for a while, but maybe now I will.

MMMMMMMM, Pizza!

26. Thick, NY, maybe once or twice a year.
My homemade never comes out that great. I have a bud who takes pizza making very seriously. Fresh dough and cheese, homemade tomato sauce and pizza stones. He'd probably install a wood burning brick oven if it weren't for the cost and exhaust problems

2. Neither. New Haven! As between the other two, obviously, NYC. The Chicago style might better be described as a casserole.

45. Three Answers
1.) Paper-thin.
2.) The next person to ask this question and forget that pizza was invented in New Haven, Connecticut which still has the best f'ing pizza in the world is going to get pipe-wrenched.
3.) I've done it once...if by scratch you mean from flour and yeast and olive oil and homemade pizza sauce and buffalo mozzarella. If you mean from a can of dough and store bought sauce and shredded cheese once...this week...thus far.
