One of my bosses may end my job within a week

Actually he may end up ending an entire department.

Instead of focusing on what we do well (and we do it very well..I just can't say what I do)...

He has decided that at the big strategy meeting he will have with the Vice President, it would be better for him to throw all our eggs in an entirely new basket in a market we know nothing about.

He gave his sample presentation and it sucked so bad and had giant holes in it you could walk through it.

The VP is no dummy, he will see through this.

It has our entire group mortified that this will happen but there is nothing we can do...unless someone confronts the VP directly and that might not go well either.

2. this guy should have been fired years ago

he is intelligent but he is not a good manager and he is a horrible "idea" person as well.

my fondest wish was that he get fired after he pissed off one of the big bosses...but nope..they didn't.

it is just horrible to see someone throw out a perfectly good thing where we have a growing market and just switch gears because he thinks the boss above him will like it better.
