3. Aw, what a cutie. I LOVE border collies.
I had one several years ago, and dearly want another one whenever I can have a dog again. They're the best.

32. Angel is probably the most perfect kitty I could have ever found
I found her at the animal shelter after losing a long time pet to cancer. Brought her home and she fit right in. We've been together now for over 10 years.
Your doggy is gorgeous too!:loveya:

5. Here's my dog wading in yesterday's snow...

I had to shovel her a path in the yard, otherwise the snow is deeper than she is tall.

12. Awww
I love cute little furry animals! :)

Here are some of mine.

Oreo and Midnight (we adopted them at five or six months from a rescue society) hanging out together in the computer chair.

Nova, the baby, when she was still just a wee baby. My mother is rather lax with her cats, and so I brought Nova home because she'll have a better life with me and my husband.

And another picture of Oreo on top of one of our bookshelves. Yes, we have three and a half bookshelves and yes, all of them are triple and quadruple stacked. And well - I grew up in the 80s and played with ponies and sometimes I get nostalgic.

Nova is a year and a half old now, but not all that much bigger. She only weighs about six pounds. She's healthy, just small. Her mother was a small cat too.

Byron is the oldest

Next is Poe (aka 'poekitty')

This one's Dorien (usually called Dory)

Here's Eliot (aka "Twiddle"... don't ask *L*)

And the delightful little Daniel

Oh... and let we forget, here's Toby!

All the felines are neutered males, and all of them are rescues.
The pup is pedigreed, and we got from a well-respected breeder
He was Oktoberain's birthday present almost 2 years ago.
He's an amazingly smart dog.

41. he is... and the cats they are mercilessly rude to him, too...
at night, Toby sleep in a 3'x6'x4' crate...
the cats will sleep on top of it and fish their paws in, or lay on the floor just outside and swat at his paws.

Dorian is his favorite... we got the two of them the same week, and thy have been best pals since.
Dory's even been known to go in the crate with him to nap!

45. I can only imagine what those cats would do to him
if he wasn't sleeping in the secure environment of the crate! They would probably map out an elaborate "war-game" scenario in advance, with the strike planned for the middle of the night!

Thanks!! She's actually one of two that my ex and I adopted
a couple of years back, and she kept both after we split, as they had such a bond with each other. I kept them at my place over the long Christmas weekend for some company as I wasn't going anywhere, so it was fun to have them around. The British Shorthairs are so sweet-natured, intelligent little things. I adopted a new little one of my own just a couple of weeks later...

44. Willow is only around 2 1/2 years old - she has her high-strung moments
as well. She was terrified of me the first couple of weeks and wouldn't let me touch her at all! I finally got her to warm up to me by playing with a string toy and a laser pointer. She comes to me for cuddling when she's in the mood, and of course when she's hungry! No aggressiveness or hostility, though - she's extremely sweet!
