Anna Nicole Smith Allegedly Wanted Baby Underfed So She'd Be 'Sexy'

A weight-obsessed and suicidal Anna Nicole Smith ordered her nanny to underfeed baby Dannielynn to make the infant "sexy," according to a shocking sworn affidavit.

The ex-Playboy Playmate, who lost her 20-year-old son, Daniel, to a drug overdose last fall, twice tried to kill herself in the weeks after her daughter's birth, ex-nanny Quethlie Alexis also charged in the document obtained by TMZ.com.

A distraught Smith declared, "I wanted to die. . . . I meant to kill myself" when she awoke from a sleep-aid overdose one day last fall, the nanny said in the affidavit.

Later that day, the former reality TV show star "tried to drown herself" in the swimming pool but was rescued, Alexis said. When Smith's lawyer Howard K. Stern fished her out of the pool, he told her, "If anything happens to you, I would go to jail," the nanny claimed.

The allegations raise new concerns about the welfare of 5-month-old Dannielynn, who is at the center of a paternity battle between Stern, 38, and photographer Larry Birkhead, 34.

How the hell can an infant be sexy? I hope the nanny didn't do as she was told.

For the record, I still feel horrible about her (ANS) and it just keeps getting sadder.

7. I'm suspicious of this story.

I have a hard time believing that someone who had already raised an infant would purposely hold back on food for her newborn. This strikes me as a now-former employee's attempt to get on the gravy train, just like all the other vultures.

death, but I don't think she would purposely underfeed her own daughter.

11. Yes. Once you've raised a kid, you see how they grow and change

very quickly. Even the tubbiest babies usually grow into normal, fit kids/teens with proper diet and exercise. I really doubt that Anna instructed anyone to withhold proper nourishment from Dannielynn.

Now, in her grief over Daniel, she may have been less rational than normal, but I still find this story hard to believe.

ANS really didn't appear to be in her right mind. She had her son 20 yrs ago when she was very young and lot had changed in her life since then. She had her own very public issues with weight and drugs.

That being said I am a more than a bit skeptical about the nanny who might just want to get in the news and make money off ANS just like so many others are trying to get their 15 minutes of fame.
