If suggesting a place, please keep in mind the ideal place would be:
- not too noisy
- able to accomodate a large group (patios are great - but heat lamps are a MUST!!)
- where parking is free or at least not too expensive OR a major problem
- centrally located
- not too expensive, pretentious, touristy or trendy

Easy to get to. Can accomodate large groups. Outside patio. Full bar. On the water. Relatively inexpensive.

but I'm not sure if I can make. I'm submitting an NIH grant proposal for the Feb 1 deadline. If the gods of grant prep smile, by end of next week I'll have it all done, but who knows. We'll see.
