Although "there wasn't enough to hold them" was probably a bad choice of words.

Judge frees jailed Chippendales dancers with charges yet to be filed

A judge ruled the case against eight Chippendales dancers wasn't strong enough to keep them in jail.
The male dancing group, its manager and a Jake's Sports Cafe manager were released from the Lubbock County Jail at about 1 p.m. Saturday. They spent the night there for violating the city's sexually oriented business ordinance, according to Lubbock police.
The dancers and managers were arrested shortly before 8 p.m. Friday during the first of three scheduled performances at the bar. The owner, Scott Stephenson, said the bar is "making arrangements" to refund tickets.
Police Lt. Gregory Stevens, with special operations, said Friday that at least one Chippendales dancer "simulated a sexual act," which since the bar did not have a sexually oriented business permit, violated the city ordinance.
The dancers and managers, however, were released without having to post bail, Lubbock County Sheriff's Lt. Kim Howell said.
"There wasn't enough to hold them," she said.
