38. I actually don't personally know a single other person

who posts on DU. Many of my friends aren't very political, at least not political enough to post on a website. Even my wife is like that. She'll talk about politics, but it's not the sort of thing that interests her enough that she'd go on the internet to discuss it. Much of my family is actually repuke, which is pretty rare for someone from Massachusetts. I love them, they're not bad people, they're just wrong on so many things. I've never been to a meet-up or DU event, even when the convention was in town (I live near Boston but was unfortunately out of the country on business the week of the convention.)
