1. Is a gumbo a cooking vessel
or a unit of measurement?

If the latter, what is it approximately equal to?

5. So...
Six lids to a gumbo = approx. six gumbos to a key.

I sense a pattern here.

13. I have no idea what a "gumbo" is, but I always thought it sounded disgusting.

Like an extra chewy oyster, or a slimy hunk of connective tissue, or something.

Eeeeeww.

9. I was saving the best for last, baby! :D

"Moist and twitterpated," indeed. As. If. :eyes:

Okay, moist maybe. But not twitterpated. Definitely not twitterpated.

Maybe a little skizzied, but not twitterpated.

Okay, OKAY. Fine. Mostly skizzied, with a teeny little twitterpate thrown in at the end. The very end, I tell you!

I replied, you goof! Before I even saw you here, too. :pals:

6. Oh, this is you
I've read this a few times and didn't even notice the author...no I don't want no gumbo. I worked in a nightmare of a cajun restaurant once with a woman who hated her daughter and flirted openly with her nephew and it scarred me for life, and that was before I spilled an entire gallon of clam chowder on the kitchen floor during lunch rush. But good to see you. :hi:

11. Good to see you too, doll.

Shame about the clam chowder, tho.

Soooo.... if she had a child with her brother, would that make the child both her nephew AND her son?

Those clone threads can be tricky. We don't want you chipping a tooth or anything.
