and the amount of suspension of disbelief was overwhelming. In the movie Gong Li is Japanese. She's Chinese! One look at her face screams the word Chinese! It didn't help having a British guy portraying someone who is French. Aren't there any French actors out there?!?! The way he said guillotine made me roll my eyes...GILL-OH-TEEN! :crazy:
Later in the afternoon I saw Breach, which was a lot better than Hannibal Rising. Growing up in Arlington, I remember a lot of the scenery shown in the movie. Not only that, but Georgetown didn't have a subway station...unlike another movie filmed in DC!
Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now.
