I made the yummiest banana bread last night
by accident. I just threw all the ingredients together and it worked. I had some leftover bananas that were turning black, so I smooshed 'em (4 small 'nanas) and mixed 'em with about two cups of flour, one cup of sugar, maybe half a stick of melted butter, one egg and a bit of baking powder.

It turned out great. Turns out I'm a banana-bread savant. I just didn't wanna throw away my black bananas!

1. My dear MonkeyFunk.......
Oooh, sounds so yummy!

How long did you bake it, and what size pan did you use?

I'd like to try this!

Thanks.......:hi:

2. the pan was about 4" x 10"
and I baked it at 350 for an hour.

But I bake everything at 350 or an hour, because that's all I know about baking.

4. Sounds delicious...
I don't think I could have done something like that. It would have turned out awful and it would go to waste.

Glad that you were able to pull something together out of scratch.

5. believe me...
if I could do it, you certainly could. I have no cooking skills at all.

I just wish I had walnuts to put in it.

But I almost grabbed the banana bread mix first.

Life is so strange sometimes.
