4. I saw this in the Sunday paper. I was laughing soooo hard at this.

Don't think that there's nothing to do in Bismarck, it's the state's 2nd largest city, and has a metro area of 100,000 people. It's basically the only other worthwhile place to visit in the state besides Fargo. There's stuff to do there. It's just that they're all idiots.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of most of North Dakota except for the great city of Fargo, and Bismarck, which I like a lot. And I didn't mean that everyone in Bismarck was idiots, just those 9,000 people (about 10 percent of the city).:D

Hell, ask most people in Fargo, and they won't give you a very positive impression of outstate ND. There are a lot of people from other states who moved here, and they frankly don't care about what goes on west of Casselton.

But I disagree on the negative opinion of rural ND. It has some of the most gorgeous terrain in the world. Yeah...even the flat farming parts. Stiking and fantastic and the sunsets can't be beat.

Stand on a 6-pack and you can see Hawaii.
