Poll question: What is the name of that big rodent that digs holes in the yard?
I don't mean prarie dogs or marmots, either.

12. Lake cows are extinct
There is the elusive tree cow, as well as the fjord cow, but the land cow is the last dominant remnant of this once-proud species.

6. "rodent" doesn't necessarily mean "disease-ridden rat."

I've seen them dig deep holes, in our neighbors yard, around his barn...our main hole diggers in our yard are armadillo's....

16. Forgot about that one.
Is that the same as a woodchuck or is it more like a prarie dog?

24. All I know is it's an old Atari 2600 game.
It was some kind of variation of whack-a-mole, if my memory serves me right.

It's not a mole, vole, shrew or even a chipmunk. It's big, brown with a short tail.

20. Both wood chucks and others..moles, voles, gophers
Voles and moles are mouse size though. I've fallen in a darn wood chuck hole while running with my granddaughter. There's nothing like running and suddenly finding one leg knee deep in a rodent hole.
