We ain't as dumb as y'all think.
Alaska, California, Mississippi, Nevada and Arizona is dummber than us.
Louisiana is almost as dumb as us. Just smarter by a haffa point.
We're dumberer than we was last year though.
We was number 43 then.
'Course we had a lot of Loisianians come over after Katrina.
That mighta done it.

Yessir, we ain't as dumb as y'all think, an I can prove it.

Y'all Vermontiners and Massachutans is way smart though.

2. A big bunch of smaht Yankees at that.
Four out of the top five are New England states, and the other one would be a Yankee to y'all in Alabama.

18. LOL! At least I live in an area with lots of well-educated academics!
However, Athens and our other blue cities can not bring up our ranking because of the conservative nitwits living in the rest of the state.
:eyes:
How are you, the hubby and little baby Carter Dean doing? Is he walking yet? :hi:

25. We're doing just fine
He's almost walking. He's trying to pull himself up to everything! And he has a walker that we put him in. We call him Speed Racer - he literally runs in it.

There's a new website you might want to check out. It's still getting the bugs worked out, but it's local.

How are things in Athens? What do you think about Jane Kidd being our new state party Chair?

28. I think Jane will be a great party chair! Gooooo Speed Racer! LOL!
We lost our congressman (CHarlie Norwood) last week nty commissioner, States McCarter, up and quit with no explantion on Feb. 7. He said he did not quit for health reasons. Go figure. He quit just in time (31 business days prior to the election) for someone to qualify to run for special election on March 20. A guy I know is running for the vacnt seat. He's a Democrat, a current Planning Commissioner and a UGA geography professor, originally from England. Ones of McCarter's neighbors is going to run as well. We still don't know why he quit.

BTW, Mike Luckovich will speak at UGA on Feb. 27 and it's FREE and open to the public! He will speak at the annual Jack Davis Visitng Artist Lecture @ 5:30 PM, room 101 of the Student Learning Center.
:hi:
 for Carter

24. MI is pretty far down the list
after slipping 12 positions in a year. That's a whole heap of "fast dumb".

It's not so bad that MI is ranked bad. It just hurts being ranked "dumber than OH". Like I should respect them geniuses in Columbus. Bah!

The place where I live now--where people deal with nuisance squirrels by pouring boiling water on 'em while they're trapped--is 35. I think that's high, myself.
