How often do you talk to yourself?
I do quite a bit. In fact, I would say that most of my threads qualify.

4. My neighbor asked me that today. Heard me muttering while walking to the door.
I told him it keeps me from singing to myself.

5. Inside of my head -- all of the time
Outside of my head -- not quite so much, but plenty. Not so much that anyone comments or backs away in fear, but enough that I'm aware of it. :-)

7. Most of the time. Sometimes out loud, sometimes just in my head.
I'm so overwhelmed with everything I have to do all the time, that I have to keep repeating things to myself.

Only when I'm alone, though. I don't agree on much.

but I usually talk to myself a lot when I'm doing a project, that has a certain amount of steps involved...I mutter the steps to myself to help keep me focused...

20. Never!
Don't lie
I'm not lying
Yes you are. Are you ashamed of me?
I'm not ashamed of you. And you're changing the subject.
How am I changing the subject?!
You're making it about you. He asked *me* if *I* talked to *myself*.
And that doesn't have anything to do with me?
Nope.
Why do you keep denying that I am a part of you? You sure were happy to talk to me when your father locked you in the closet when he caught you stealing from his wallet!
Ha! Gotcha!
Huh?
You just proved that you are not a part of me!
No I didn't.
Yes you did, when you were talking about Dad!
No, I didn't!
Yes, you did! You said when *my* dad locked *me* in the closet when he caught *me* stealing him from!
So?
You used 2nd-person singular, not first-person plural! You said "you" and "your", not "us" and "our"!
That doesn't mean anything!
Yes it does! It's key!
You're a selfish prick!
You're a whiny ass!
Both of you shut up before I come down there and shove a size-12 boot up your asses!
Sorry.
Sorry.
