Coltrane and I - For the cat lovers

I have myself one smart and loving (if not a little too co-dependent) kitty.

2. Dude doesn't even know he's a cat.
Take him for rides in the car...drinks out of the toilet...plays fetch...comes when I whistle...hangs out at band practice.

I don't know if I should break it to him that he's not supposed to do that stuff.

6. no don't tell him--he wouldn't believe you anyway
prolly just give you a look of disdain...haughty and all that:rofl:

he'll slink off to pout but, when you whistle he'll come running, ready for a game of fetch:loveya:

4. Has slept in my armpit...
everynight since I got him at 7 weeks.

When I go on the road for my production gig...my fiance says he gets really depressed.

I can attest he gets real excited when I come home...makes really funny meows (half purr...half meow...and REAL loud)...runs back and forth around the house...brings me his mousy to play fetch.

7. It was the same with The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger.
When I'm traveling, he sleeps on my pillow, right beside Call Me Wesley. And if I don't get out of bed fast enough in the morning when Ginger's hungry, he burrows under the covers and bites my toes. :scared:

8. Well if you like that name....
here's a picture of his little brother, Bird (named after Charlie Parker), when he was a kitten:

He weighs about 18lbs more than that now...so he doesn't fit in my underwear like that anymore.

He continued to try up until he was about 10lbs...but I had to put the kibosh on that.

10. Here's one of bird taken a few minutes ago...

He's had a traumatic day...we had to have him shaved today. He was getting mighty dready.

That picture doesn't show his size very well...but he's a big boy.

My buddy is a groomer (a very good groomer at that)...I told him to give him the "Lion" cut.

I hope the other cats in the neighborhood don't laugh at him.
