7. Where was your council?
Thinking Day has been a part of Girl Scouts for almost ever. Not just national but international for all Scouts and Guides.

11. I remember Thinking Day from when I was a Girl Scout
a good 45 years ago. Then I was a leader from 74 to 92. Gotta say, they all seem to run together.

4. All the troops pick a country and do research on it.
then they wear something representative, (like BabyMidlo's troop picked Chile, so they are wearing ponchos) and make some food representative for the other kids to eat.

As a mom, you have to walk around and ooh and aah at everyone and what they're wearing and what they brought to share to eat and I'd rather stay home and drink wine.

YIPPEEE for troop leaders who only have one child!!!!

8. HAHA. Some type of cookie.
She LOVES Scouts. The troop leader is a good friend of mine and VERY liberal, so they do a ton of good things like visiting the nursing homes, collecting food for the food bank, etc.

And, she just loves it, so that is a major bonus.
