I thought I was watching a parody, taking a phone call supposedly from the ex-husband in Texas and the first question of proof of identity is asking if he has boots on.

Then he starts blabbing about spiritual identity and his longterm plans for a retirement timetable and what his wife thinks of him. When he announced his plans to give the judgment he starts to cry and hopes everyone understands he has lost sleep over this case, and that justice is not perfect. Almost like he's apologizing for his behavior, and also apologizing for the verdict before he gives it. Hell, with this guy he might decide one thing in his chamber then change his mind before he starts blabbing.

This will be late night fodder, that's for sure.
